William McLuskie is our Chief Instructor. He has earned the rank of
Yondan
(4th Degree Black Belt) as recognized by the Aikikai Hombu Dojo in Tokyo, Japan.
He has also received his
Fukushidoin Teaching Certificate (certified instructor). As Chief Instructor
he is responsible for all aspects of training at Water Oak Aikikai as well as the
testing and promotion of students.
Brenda McLuskie is our Dojo Cho. She has direct responsibility for all aspects of
the dojo and the gardens.
Eric Dutton is Chairman of the Dojo Committee and is responsible for the cleaning
and maintenance of the dojo and the gardens and reports directly to the Dojo Cho.
Jayson Colvard and Dan Grano are the Chairmen of our Community Involvement Committee.
This committee is responsible for identifying opportunities for the dojo to interact
with our community. Some examples of the types of things we have in mind are hosting
children’s self defense classes, visiting youth groups and schools, participating
at community festivals, volunteering in the community as a group, demonstrations,
and seminars.
JC Fedorczyk is the Chairman of our Membership Committee. He is responsible for
the viability of our dojo as a membership based organization and to ensure that
the members of the dojo get the most possible from their involvement with the dojo.
Holly & Ken Robbins are the Co-Chairs of our Membership Committee. They is responsible for
the planning and execution of social activities for members and their families.
